The words RV and motor-home are often used interchangeably, but in our case the difference is relevant. RV, as in Recreational Vehicle is something that you’d drive around for fun. That’s not the case for our new motor-home. It’s definitely a motorized home that you can drive from place to place.

The coach itself is 37 feet long. Add on about 3 feet for a tow bar and about 10 feet for the Jeep and the full rig is about 50 feet long. The full weight is probably close to 25 thousand pounds. Make no mistake, driving this rig is not recreation.
Using the coach as a home, on the other hand, is a delight. It has a small slide-out on the passenger side for a king size bed and a ‘super-slide’ on the driver’s side that starts just behind the driver’s seat and extends all of the way to the back of the coach. With both slide-outs extended the interior is the size of a studio apartment. It’s equipped with a full size residential refrigerator / freezer, a nice kitchen, three TVs (total excess) and even a fireplace (one of the fake electric ones).
There’s a lot more about this coach to discuss, but that will be for a different post. Most of the posts will be about our travels, but a few will be about the coach and the Full Time lifestyle.
Enjoy!
